A scientific seminar was successfully held on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, in the Conference Hall of the Department of Mathematics at the College of Science, under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Abdulkarim Yaseen Karim, with the presence of the Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Studies, a number of department heads, and respected faculty members. The seminar was organized by the Scientific Activities Committee under the title:
“Earthquakes: Forces of natural that shape our Planet and our Life”
The seminar was presented by Dr. Harbe Anwar Muhamad from the Department of Earth Sciences and Petroleum at the College of Science. This seminar highlighted the dynamic natural forces that continuously shape the Earth and influence human life, offering valuable insights and fostering academic dialogue among faculty and researchers.
