The international workshop held today, Monday, February 24, 2025, was successfully conducted under the supervision of Professor Abdulkarim Yasin Karim, the Head of the College of Science, with the preparation of:
- Professor Sharif Mulood, Vice President of Salahaddin University for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education,
- Professor Samir Jwadet, Director of the Research Center at Salahaddin University,
- The University of Erbil Medical College, and
- The University of Northern Arizona, USA.
The International workshop, titled “Genomics, Diseases, and Pathogenic Microorganisms and Bioinformatics has been organized by Dr.Trifa Sall and Dr.Abdulilah and took place in the conference hall of the Mathematics Department at the College of Science. The event was successfully carried out with the active participation of the academic staff and students of the College of Science. The workshop talked about how to deal with pandemic and epidemic diseases and new approaches to deal with them.
