On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the workshop was successfully conducted under the supervision of Professor Abdulkarim Yasin Karim, Head of the Mathematics Department at the College of Science, in the conference hall of the College of Science. The event was carried out with the active participation of the academic staff and students from the College of Science, with contributions from Dr. Sheng Ziad, Deputy Head of the College, Professor Abbas Burhan, Director of the University of Salahaddin’s Scientific Research Department, and Mr. Hussein Ahmed, Director of the CDC at Salahaddin University, as well as Dr. Mohammed Ali, Head of the Biology Department, and the administrators of the Rizgari and Raparin Health Clinics and the Erbil Public Health Department.
The workshop, titled “Internship Training: Guidelines for Professional Development and Career Advancement,” featured two seminars presented on internship guidelines and distributing students across health centers by the organizers:
- Dr. Qareman Mam Khidr, Head of the Internship Program
- Mr. Y. Chreska Nuraddin Ahmed, Director of the Biology Department
Additionally, a seminar was presented by two fourth-year students, Zainab Abdulkhaleq Khattab and Likaa Fereedoon Jirjis, based on their one-month internship experience in Egypt.
The event concluded with the recognition and distribution of certificates to selected students from the internship program and academic staff involved, along with officials from the local health authority in Erbil.
